The meaning of the word “cornerstone” is the “main part, foundation, or basis” on which something rests. The foundation of our faith is belief in God, and to this end the members of the Cornerstone Class seek to deepen their beliefs and faith through study of the scriptures and other religious writings. In a spirit of openness, inquiry, and love, the members support one another as they try to grow, as Jesus grew “in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man.” Members of the Cornerstone Class maintain a website with class information. This class has, as its priority, a growing appreciation of the authenticity and power for living found in the Bible. Visitors to this class will find a loving fellowship of marrieds and singles, young parents through grandparents, who care deeply about the relevance of God’s Word for today and who benefit from the experiences shared during class discussions. Class begins with fellowship and refreshments at 9:30 a.m. followed by singing and the sharing of praise and prayer concerns at 9:55 a.m. Contact Pat and Gaile Allen, gaile@negia.net, for more information.
