For the Beauty of the Earth | Hymn Festival

Sunday, April 21, 2024 | 3:00 p.m.

Join us at Athens First United Methodist Church for an ecumenical hymn festival hosted by the AFUMC Sanctuary Choir on Sunday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m. Renowned organist and conductor, Dr. Marilyn Keiser, will join us as the guest artist for the festival, which will be called, "For the Beauty of the Earth." Together, with choirs and clergy from some of our Athens downtown churches, we will gather as a community to celebrate the wonders of God's creation through the great hymns of our faith accompanied by the Athens First Ringers, brass ensemble, and organ. This event is free and open to all, with a reception in Hancock Hall following the festival.
